My primary goal is to see if I am able to breed a BEW English Angora that is able to become a grand champion. My strategy to reach this goal is to learn as much as I can about the genetics of these wonderful rabbits and to breed the Vienna gene into the best stock I can find. Instead of taking a BEW line and trying to improve it, I want to try the reverse approach, i.e., to intorduce the Vienna gene into a line I plan to start with Angel's Bambi, Vanity, and Cosmo. (Thanks Angel for such great stock!). The bunny in the picture is my first step toward reaching this goal. This bunny is from Vanity's litter. If it is a buck, I will cross him with Bambi and if it is a doe, she will be crossed with Cosmo. A VM bunny will be kept from the resulting litter. I plan to keep up this process for at least a few generations and see what happens. :-)
