Our mission

NW ichild supports families in the Northwest who have adopted or are interested in adoption from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.

Our goals

• to provide a forum to support the networking of families who share similar life stories, not only with one another, but with available resources in our area
• to expand and share our knowlege of our children's first culture/home

NW ichild exists primarily as an email group on Yahoo! Most members are families who have adopted or plan to adopt a child from India. The group also welcomes families who have adopted or are planning to adopt children from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. We are open to anyone with a sincere interest in the issues relating to the adoption of children from these countries.
